I’m Leah, a London-based photographer and 2025 BA (Hons) Photography graduate from the University of Brighton, UK. My practice explores identity, race, relationships, and representation, often weaving humour into the work to balance critical depth with moments of lightness. Working primarily with digital photography, I focus on portraiture and landscape to explore themes of identity, place, and belonging.
Influenced by my South-East London upbringing and Jamaican heritage, my work frequently reflects on community, memory, and social experience. Alongside my personal projects, I maintain an ever-growing visual archive of the colours, moments, and small curiosities that catch my eye, allowing my practice to remain fluid and open rather than tied to a single style or subject.
I also take on commissioned and collaborative work, from events and concept shoots to freelance assignments, bringing the same creativity and vibrant storytelling that runs through my fine art practice into everything I create. I’m always open to collaborations, commissions, and new ideas.
